Welcome to NCI Rossall Point lookout station
The station is now part of the SAR team on the Fylde Coast after passing its Declared Facility Status at the end of September 2013.
Access :
The Tower is a four story tower (this includes the viewing balcony on the third level. The ground floor is a public area, the first floor is for the use of the Rangers and the second floor is the NCI Station.
Visitor Policy:
The Senior Watchkeeper, will be responsible for all those present in the building, including visitors. Visitors will be asked to vacate the building if there is any slightest danger to life or limb. When the fire alarms are sounded, all personnel will be directed out of the building using the Fire Escape Route. All personnel will be directed to the Muster Point at least 30 metres up wind of the Tower. When the station becomes involved in a SAR incident, visitors will be asked to leave the room immediately so that operations can be dealt with undisturbed.
